Ireland Squad
Ireland had a series with India recently. The selectors are rewarding/ giving opportunities to the players who have performed well against India. The intention is to make a squad that will give its best to grab the matches against the Kiwis.
Due to the retirement of William Porterfield, Ireland has picked Stephen Doheny. He was selected on the recent performances of the inter-provincial and wolves level.
Graham Hume is also included in the ODI squad after being consistent in the seasons. His ability to bounce and move the ball on the home ground helped him to be picked for the team. Ireland has announced the squad for both T20 and ODI. Andrew Balbirinw will be captain for both series.
