The aim is to discuss whether or not Karachi should host the PSL 8 matches that currently take place in Punjab. The availability of suitable venues, the security situation in the region and logistical considerations would all be taken into account when this shifting of venues is taken into consideration.

As per official reports, the provincial government has asked PKR 500 million from the Pakistan Cricket Board to provide security and host the fixtures in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
