Prediction 3rd ODI: New Zealand Tour to Pakistan 2023
The third match of the series of Pak vs NZ will be played on 3rd May 2023 in National Stadium Karachi. The match will start at 1530 hrs IST
Teams Analysis
Pakistan
The ODI opener of Pakistan destroyed New Zealand in the second ODI as well. He scored consecutive hundreds. The chase of 330+ was built on his 135-run partnership with the captain. He scored 65 runs. After that, a partnership with Mohammad Rizwan on the counterattack side completely won the game.
In the ODI format, Pakistan’s batsmen are too strong. They have a terrifying batting depth, led by opener Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan and Mohammad Nawaz who are all in outstanding form. They won’t see much problem with the New Zealand bowling team’s lack of experience.
Naseem Shah was once again impressed with his spell. Haris Rauf also took 4 wickets. The spinners didn’t get much help on this pitch. They’d like the Karachi pitch to have some bite.
New Zealand
New Zealand had shown improvement over what they did in the 1st match. Daryl Mitchell scored the most runs i.e. 129. Tom Latham scored to set a huge total for the opponents.
The return of the captain among the runs will please the NZ. They should do well in the remaining matches now. However, their bowling is their main problem, i.e. Inexperience. The team is having trouble as a result of not having Southee, Ferguson or Mitch Santner. Matt Henry has been performing well but things are unlikely to change much in the future.
