The history of PSL is not very long. On September 9, 2015, the Pakistan Cricket Board established the Pakistan Super League with 5 teams. Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators were the first to join it. Due to security conditions in Pakistan, it debuted in UAE. PSL officially began on February 4, 2016. Multan Sultans joins the PSL as the sixth team in 2018. ICC included this league in their window starting in 2021. Wasim Akram and Rameez Raja were the first brand ambassadors for Pakistan Super League for 3 years. PSL Headquarters is based in Lahore. It is held annually from February – March. Currently, its 8^th edition is going on but yes now in the stadiums of Pakistan, as the Government of Pakistan has put a lot of effort in making the security condition satisfactory. It started on 9^th February and the final is planned on 19^th March 2023.

Australia Reaches in Final, Defeating India: ICC T20 Women’s World Cup 2023

ICC T20 Women’s World Cup is in the final stages. Semi-Finals are being played now. Recently, the Indian women’s team lost to Australia in the 1^st semi-final. Australia is the defending champions of this ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. They are the 5 times champions of the ICC T20 Women’s World Cup. The Kangaroos defeated India by 5 runs in the first semi-final being played in South Africa. They are the only team who reaches the final for the 7^th time out of 8 tournaments. The 2^nd Semi Final will be played between England and South Africa. The winner of that will be the playing against Australian women’s team in the final.

In the first semifinal, Australian skipper Mag Lanning decided to bat first after winning the toss. The team scored 172 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Thanks to a half-century of Beth Mooney and fast runs from the skipper Lanning at the end of the innings. In the last 5 overs, the team scored 59 runs. India’s Deepti Sharma and Richa Ghosh each took one wicket and Shikha Pandey took two wickets.

The openers of the Indian Cricket team Mandhana and Verma got out early. They scored just 9 and 2 runs, respectively. Jemima Rodriguez scored 43 runs and Harmanpreet Kaur led the board with runs with 52.

Blue shirts reached in semifinals by Duckworth Lewis’s method after defeating Ireland by. Their journey ended here.

Melbourne Cricket Club wants to host a Ind vs Pak Match

After successfully organizing the dramatic T20 World Cup 2022, Melbourne Cricket Club is looking towards two arch-rivals of cricket. It is interested in organizing a test match between the two teams. Melbourne Cricket Ground is known all over the world for its beautiful ground and balanced pitch for both bowlers and batsmen.

The Victorian government and the Melbourne Cricket Ground has recently inquired about the possibility of hosting the high-profile Test match between Pakistan and India.
